How to Check If You Are Eligible for the Self Employed Income Support Scheme

If you’re self-employed or a member of a partnership and have been adversely affected by coronavirus, you may be eligible for the Self Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS).

HMRC have launched a tool for you to check if you are eligible for the scheme ahead of the launch on Wednesday 13 May 2020.

To check your eligibility, you will need your:

  • Self Assessment Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number
  • National Insurance number
